Samsung S5690 Firmware Update Steps:

- Turn off the phone and take out its battery, SIM card, And Memory card too.
- Run Odin.exe program.
- In case you have *.pit file of Samsung S5690 and the firmware package that you downloaded is a complete one, Then check Re-Partition option, Otherwise leave it unchecked.
- Click PIT button and select: Marvell_Partition.pit
- Click BOOTLOADER button to select: BOOT_S5690xxxxx.tar.md5
- Click PDA button to select: PDA_S5690xxxxx.tar.md5
- Click PHONE button to select: MODEM_S5690xxxxx.tar.md5
- Click CSC button to select: GT-S5690-MULTI-CSC-Oxxxxx.tar.md5
- Put the phone's battery back but do not turn it on.
- Now you have to connect your phone to PC in Download Mode, To do so Press and HoldVolume Down Key + Home Key, Then connect USB cable to phone, Keep pressing these keys until Odin detects your phone.
- When Odin detects your phone you will see 0:[COMxx] with yellow background, When XX are numbers.
- Click Start button, And Odin will begin updating the phone using the selected firmware files.
- During the process never try to stop it, Also do not unplug the USB cable from phone or PC.
- You have to wait for some minutes until the process is done.
- When Odin finishes the update you will see PASS! Word with green background, And your Samsung S5690 will be rebooted.
- Now you can disconnect the USB cable from phone.
- After your phone is fully on, Do full reset to it using this code *2767*3855#
- Wait for it again, And after it reboots you can start customizing it.
- Congratulations for updating your Samsung S5690 to the latest firmware version by yourself.
