1. How To Switch different unlock modes for different iPhone4S models

Because of the iPhone4S new strategy in simcard locking, Mr-SIM card can only unlock one model of iPhone4s in dedicated unlock mode. So you need switch unlock mode when you want unlock other models. Here are the methods to switch different unlock modes.

Method 1: STK Switching

• If your Mr-SIM card can unlock your iPhone4s in default mode and you want to use it to unlock another model, you can directly go to “Settings”->”Phone”->”SIM Application”, and enter “set operators”, select what you want. Then you can power off your iPhone4s and use it in other model.
• If you don’t have correct iPhone4s ( it means that if you insert MrSIM card into iPhone4s, it would appear need unlock), you can switch as follows: power on iPhone4s without card inserted; open voice memo application and start record; insert Mr-SIM card and your own simcard until iphone appear Need unlock information; touch red recording bar in the top of the screen to go back to voice memo interface; press “HOME” to return to your iPhone desktop; go to STK menu to switch operator and power off.

Method 2: Using MrSIM Update and configure software in PC

You should have a PCSC or Phoenix simcard reader and MrSIM iPhone4s software. You can download the latest version from http://www.mrsim-shop.com/bbs/read.php?tid=182or ask it from your reseller. If you use Phoenix simcard reader, please make sure it works on 9600 baud rate.

1. Insert MrSIM card and normal size simcard into reader. Please make sure that unlock card and simcard contact well in the card reader. It is the most important step
2. Start MrSIM-iPhone4S.exe and select your card reader type according to what you use. Wait until it searched the correct ATR string and disappear complete. Please make sure that ATR string is leading by ‘3b’
3. You can read and select your operator in the software menu. Of course, you can update new version of firmware as you want.

Method3: Switch unlock mode by different PIN code

In general use, please don’t set PIN code to your simcard. There are dedicated PIN codes to switch different models. By default, PIN code 0000 indicates KDDI-AU, 0001 for SPRINT, 0002 for VERIZON, 0003 for UK-O2, 0004 for ATT and 0005 for SOFTBANK.

1. Open your simcard PIN code protection and set new PIN code according to your iPhone4s model in a normal mobile phone.
2. Insert Mr-SIM card and your simcard into iPhone4s and power on
3. When iPhone4s require you input PIN code, just input it and wait for signal
4. Don’t forget to close your simcard PIN code protection after finish all the operation.

1. How to install Required Packages

If you want to unlock VERIZON or SPRINT iPhone4s, please install Commcenter *Patch for IOS5 and MrSIM’s iPhone4S Network Package. Otherwise, your iPhone4S can not register the network or use 3G network. Here are steps to install these two packages in Cydia.
